Trial Details

  • 90362 (5a)
  • The study involves a new compound being developed for the treatment of epilepsy

You may be eligible to apply for this study if:

  • You are a healthy male or female aged 18-45
  • Females must be surgically sterilised or postmenopausal (no regular menstrual bleeding for more than 1 year)
  • You must weigh at least 50kg
  • You must have a BMI (body mass index) between 18 and 30
  • Male volunteers must be willing to use a double barrier method of contraception during the study and refrain from Fathering a child for 3 months after the study

  • You will not be eligible to apply for this study if:

  • You must not be a smoker
  • You must not have donated blood in the last 8 weeks
  • You must not have any history of epilepsy, fits or fainting
  • You must not have a history of asthma
  • You must not have any allergies
  • You must not have a history of any inflammatory bowel syndrome, gastritis, ulcers, gastrointestinal or rectal bleeding
  • You must not have history of illnesses to your heart, lungs, liver or kidneys
  • You must not have tested positive to HIV or Hepatitis
  • You must not have a history of drug or alcohol abuse
