Trial Details

  • This study is being developed to examine the safety, tolerability and effect on the body of a drug hoped to be used to treat schizophrenia. 153 volunteers have already been tested on the study drug (up to 240mg).

You may be eligible to apply for this study if:

  • Men who might wish to participate must be willing to use a double barrier method of contraception from the start of the study and for three months after completion of the study.
  • Females who might wish to participate can also be surgically sterilised, hysterectomized or post menopausal for longer than one year.  Females of child-bearing potential should either be on hormonal contraception or using an intrauterine device along with a barrier method (condom/cap). 
  • You must be available for the duration of 8 months.
  • You are a healthy Male or Female between 18-45.   

You will not be eligible to apply for this study if:

  • You have tested positive for hepatitis B, C or HIV.
  • You have a history of alcohol or drug abuse.
  • You have a significant history of anaemia.
  • You have donated blood in the last 4 months.
  • You have a history of glaucoma.
  • You have been diagnosed as colour-blind or for impaired colour vision.
  • You are a vegan.
  • You have any history of painful/heavy periods or any history of endomotriosis.
