This study is being carried out to investigate a new drug for the treatment of acute lung conditions.This is a first time into human study.
You may be eligible to apply for this study if:
18-55 years old healthy males and females (non child bearing potential)
You weigh at least 50kg BMI 19-29.9kg/m2
Females - must be of non child bearing potential i.e Post menopausal for at least 2 years,hysterectomised or surgically sterilised
Males - must be willing to use double barrier contraception from the start of the study and for 3 months after
You are willing to wear a 24hour heart monitor at screening and bring it back to the unit the next day
You smoke no more than 5 cigarettes per day in the last 3 months
You will not be eligible to apply for this study if:
You have had a history or ever tested positive for Toxoplasma
You have tested positive for TB
You have a chronic history of liver disease
You have taken part in a clinical trial in the last 3 months or participated in more than 4 trials in the last year
You have any history of frequent headaches which require treatment.
